InfinityEdge 2mm - Garden Edging - Galvanised (Silver)

Unlike others in the market, not only are we Australian made from Australian product, we also are all inclusive on our InfinityEdge Rolled-top garden edging. Nothing hidden, no gimmicks. Each 2.4m Length comes with;

3 x Pegs (3mm thick steel)
1 x Joining Plate (3mm thick steel)

10 x Series 500 self drilling screws

This product is for those that require a seamless solution; As the name suggests, this edging can run forever with no visible joiners or interruptions. 

We achieve this by rolling a top edge in the lengths, creating not only a reinforced straight length, but also offering the ability for the joiners to be concealed on the inside of the edging solution. 

The caveat with this range:
It requires more work for installation - We are upfront about that. We can be, because we offer alternative solutions which we manufacture ourselves in our Australian factory.
 

To install this edging product, we have specialised galvanised self-drilling screws available. You simply need to butt two lengths (or more) of InfinityEdge together, insert a joiner plate (supplied) on the back between the two lengths and screw through the edging into the joiner near the bottom edge. 
Our InfinityEdge Stakes are slotted beneath the rolled-top and screwed near the bottom of the edging.
 

If you're chasing a quicker, easier install. Please have a look at our LazyEdge range, it is completely Tool-less and is a simple install.

Whilst more complicated during install, it is the only way (without welding) to achieve a seamless edging result. 
The screws are located along the bottom of the edge, so once the edging is installed these are below ground and not visible.

Our products are made from Australian-made BlueScope GALVABOND® Galvanised material - Keeping it Australian made is who we are.

They can be cut to your required length with a grinder and a cutting wheel, or we can cut to your exact length. This means all you need to do is assemble. 
As this product butts up to each length for continuity, the cuts you make need to be nice and straight.

• Note: These are cut raw (silver metal finish) - Over time the Galvanised silver finish may dull in colour, but due to the Zinc-rich coating, will keep rust at bay. 

1. Grab your Tape measure 
   Measure up the length of your garden beds, add all of these measurements together and you will have your Total Lineal Meter requirement. 
   Then divide this total number by 2.4 (The length of our edging pieces). 
   Eg. 30-meters divided by 2.4 = 12.5 lengths required (we would recommend rounding up to 13)
2. Stakes/Joiners
   The Infinity Edge utilises joiner plates for joining lengths and stakes to stabilise the edging into the ground.
3. Corners
   We pre-bend sections of Infinity Edge into External & Internal corners, giving you a perfect, crisp finish from our large CNC presses.
4. After order support! 
   If you order edging from us, start your project, then realise you didn't buy enough stakes or joiners, simply call or send us an email. 
   We will post these additional parts to you express.

Can this be flexed into curved garden beds?

Yes, whilst the Infinity Edge is quite rigid, it still has some flex to allow for curves. 
If you are after a tighter curve, you can simply cut some relieve cuts in the top rolled edge (on the back). 
If you need to create a very tight curve, we can roll these on our machines.
This is the biggest advantage of dealing with the manufacturer - If you need customisation, we can do it.

What about around a tree? a circle?
Yes, circles are possible - In this situation we simply recommend the use of our stakes: Secure an end and start curving whilst hammering stakes in to keep it in place. After you have created your radius, you can hit the edge into the ground and remove excess stakes.

We refuse to sell inferior 1.5mm lightweight product. Shipping well made heavy product is expensive, we assume why its unpopular. 
Economies of scale allow us to offer these discounted shipping rates. 

How does this get delivered?

For Palletised Orders >70kg

We strap and wrap your order on a pallet (skid) and we send it (we've shipped all over Australia).
Our carrier will arrive with a tail lift and pallet jack, they will unload it and wheel it onto your property, this means our carrier will require a hard surface to unload. They will NOT leave the package on the street, footpath or any other area deemed unsafe. 
We have great carriers, these are real-people and they want to help, but please be realistic. They can't risk their health to manually lift items into locations.

For Hand-Parcel orders <70kg
These items will be wrapped and sent via a hand parcel delivery.

Steel Product & Safety

Please be mindful of safety when utilising steel edging in your garden. Particularly if you have young children - being children! 
Having a substantial amount above ground is how we have designed our edging to be utilised. This creates a visible barrier for people & animals navigating your garden. 
During the production of steel product, edges can be sharp. Whilst this sharp edge is diminished over-time (Rusting process), it is also possible to quickly run a 'flap-disc' grinding wheel across the edge to remove any sharp edges.

If you need a very safe option around younger children, we recommend our Infinity Edge product.
This is also the safest option as an in-ground divider as it has no sharp edges on top.
