Shipping Policy
Our website automatically calculates the best shipping method for your order based on weight, size, and delivery address. If something looks off at checkout, email us at info@CoreEarthDesigns.com.au and we'll build a custom shipping quote for you.
🎉 Free Shipping on Orders Over $1,000 (Metro Areas)
Spend $1,000 or more in a single order and we'll ship it to any metro area free of charge. The discount is applied automatically at checkout once your address is entered and the order total qualifies.
This applies to palletised metro deliveries. Regional and remote areas remain at our standard rates below.
Shipping Rates
Hand-Parcel — Orders Under 50kg
Flat rate: $49
For lighter orders, hand-parcel delivery is the most cost-effective option. The website automatically splits your order into under-25kg parcels (up to two parcels totalling 50kg). Beyond that, palletised shipping is safer and cheaper for everyone.
Palletised Shipping — Orders Over 50kg

Our larger items — garden edging, steel products, timber screens — are strapped, wrapped, and delivered on a pallet via tail-lift truck. No lifting required on your end.
Delivery Conditions
Our deliveries arrive on a tail-lift truck with a pallet jack. Because of this, there are a few things to be aware of:
- The truck needs hard, smooth ground to unload the pallet safely.
- Drivers will not leave pallets on the street or footpath — they must be placed on your property.
- Due to WHS restrictions, drivers cannot manually lift items into backyards or over obstacles.
- Drivers will do their best to accommodate, but please be realistic — these are heavy items handled by real people.
Difficult Access?
If your driveway is only suitable for a Mountain-Goat, we need to know. Please leave a note at checkout describing any tricky access conditions (steep driveways, narrow lanes, low-hanging branches, locked gates, etc). Without this information, drivers may choose not to deliver.
After You Order
Once your address is entered at checkout, the correct shipping rate (or free shipping, if eligible) is applied automatically before payment. After your order is placed, you'll receive an email with shipping and tracking details.
Returns & Shipping Costs
Change of mind returns: We do not refund original shipping costs, and we do not cover return shipping back to us.
Faulty or damaged items: We cover all shipping costs — whether you'd like a replacement or a return.
A note on flat-rate shipping and refunds: Our flat rates (e.g. $199 on heavy items) are often well below our actual shipping cost — we absorb the difference in our pricing. For change-of-mind returns, refunds are calculated as the item value minus the true shipping costs we incurred (both ways). Shipping invoices showing actual costs are available on request.
Free shipping items: Where shipping was free, the same principle applies — change-of-mind refunds are reduced by our actual outbound shipping cost.
