Made differently
Rolled in-house from 6mm Bluescope Redcor Corten steel with our proprietary bracket welded low inside the ring. 316 marine-grade stainless hardware pulls the single split closed once you've placed the ring around your tree.
At 6mm the ring is substantial enough to sit on its own — no pegging, no anchoring, no lateral movement. It's heavy steel that stays exactly where you put it.
The join is invisible from the outside once installed. No staples, no exposed screws, no panelled look.
The finish
Raw silver on arrival, developing a rich and even rust patina over the first few weeks outdoors. Corten is the material used for bridges and public sculpture — designed to live outside, designed to get better with age. The patina seals the steel and protects it from rusting through.

Why 6mm
6mm is overkill for a backyard tree ring — and that's the point. It's for people who want the visual weight of heavy steel, something their kids' kids will still be using. It looks more like a permanent landscape feature than a garden accessory, and it'll outlast almost everything else in the garden.
