In 2020, we'd had enough. Every garden edging product available in Australia was either flimsy imported steel, embarrassingly thin, or absurdly expensive for what you got.
Australian manufacturing had all but walked away from the category — because, honestly, it's much cheaper and easier to stamp out 1.5mm steel in an overseas factory and ship it over. The consumer never knows. Until it fails.
We set up our factory on the Central Coast and started making the product we wished existed: thick, honest, laser-cut Australian steel edging at prices that make sense. We're still doing exactly that.
